Cape Lambert, the Australian-listed miner, will once more mull over offers from trade buyers for its Lady Annie copper mine, the Australian Financial Review reported. According to the report Cape Lamberts chief executive, Tony Sage, confirmed that the group would consider offers for the asset as it had before embarking on efforts to list it as Q Copper. Cape Lambert yesterday announced that it had canceled the planned listing. Sage said that a major investor involved in the IPO had shown interest in buying the entire project. The report said that the investor could be a Chinese group. Sage said that another two parties had also approached Cape Lambert in the last two months.
