well I certainly wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth. I've been to several nights at the ballet and opera, didn't understand any of it, but at times the music was very moving. but her that must be obeyed loves it so I'm happy to go along because she wants me to. taste in music etc has nothing to do with the size of your wallet
it would be a funny old world if everyone liked the same, give me Jimmy Barnes any day. the WA government like most other states do help sponsor the arts, but they also sponsor footy and the likes of the Big day Out for the bogans too
so live and let live and don't go if it bothers you that much, let others spend their time and money as they see fit
