Actually I have just started using cfd's, I have been using tight stops, but a large part of my profit wiped out due to the gap on open today with bhp which triggered my stop (had it at 26 but got closed out at 27). I would not really recommend using them in these market conditions if you are going to hold your position overnight exactly for the above reason. When you are only putting down 1 percent of your position and their is a gap the size of today you could easily end up well and truely in debt. Anywhos, safe trading all.
