Your only risk, in case you havent thought it further, is the window of waiting for the mail to porocess, during which time your investments reality lays with the price fluctuating in the meantime....potentially rendering your options overprice, or heavily discounted if the share goes up again from here.
Otherwise, ask the registry/office what way would be the "fastrack" method for doing the same process (ie online forms then fax from Aust Post, or via a broker etc).
