Probably not, however buying just for the dividend in a bear market could cost you more than your intended return, simply because of the down trend as opposed to bull markets- uptrend.

Plus there is still the overhang of a TO for Coca Cola Amatil, which would have to be higher than what they offered IMHO cheers
