What about maintenance ?.. a buyer will also need to maintain the property..
there will probably be at least another $50 a week that you need to allow for, probably more I'd say .. for wear and tear, replacing heaters, aircons, gutters,carpets, painting and repairs and maintenace ..
So the difference between buying and selling using your example is closer to $300per week and it could get higher as interest rates rise.
