I know that area well, if they ever replace beatty park(well overdue) it will be good for the area
but will these houses still be in fashion? You will be selling to the Ipod generation not the baby boomers.
I grew up with computers, first generation to do so and such houses whilst nice dont fit into modern living on many levels

How did you work out you got it for "block value" are there any vacant blocks for sale in the area? What criteria did you use for it to be "undervalued"?
"fashionable shops", "restaurant strip" - good thing most WA people never go to Melbourne, so RE agents can get away with such rubbish statements
Having said all of that, if you can do 300k worth of renos yourself then the potential for financial reward is certainly there.
