It will be interesting to see what this means for ES? If eni is reluctant to buy Shell's interest, MEO's Chinese friends may be keen to step up.

As for exploration success, eni knowing what they know, decided to hold on to Blackwood and MEO were dumb enough to gift it to them, not even a measly cash-injection, nothing. Piss poor.
