in my example of the 3,000,000 million dollars worth of holdings...earning 300,000 pa cpaital growth
the properties original cost was less than a quarter of that current value...lets say around 700k
the original loans were around 70% of the buying price...
today the LVR is 15%...leaving 85% equity
at one stage I held 10 properties....but then I was made some offers that were too good to refuse
the income, yearly rental has enabled me to semi retire years earlier than anticipated, or planned....
I coud retire outright, however I prefer to keep working, to retain my lifestyle, otherwise I am easily bored. I prefer the structure of my working life...
