p.s. are you getting PLT confused with FER?

They appear to be near belly-up, and were placed in 'Suspension from Official Quotation' on the request of the directors.

A sad end (presumably) to a sorry saga. Why they blew all of that money on legals to protects the value of patents impacting on many years into the future, and then more dough on going into a 'friendly' merger with PLT but getting an 'independant expert' to review it (who was always going to recommend against), only to bring both companies down ... is beyond me.

I still believe that if they'd gone into the merger 'on faith' it would have been a win-win for both companies ... a cash injection when PLT needed it, allowing them to get to profitability and beyond, just in time to fund FER's commercialisation requirements when they needed it (almost a cash buffer effect of sorts), plus the various synergistic benefits.

Anyhow, we've been on that topic before ... for the moment let's hope that Betio has gotten confused with FER or the ASX release from late August (the warning prior to Robert Hunter paying the listing renewal fees), and that PLT's future is still a realistic hope and that a DOCA is being prepared and signed as we speak (or possibly even being reviewed by the voluntary adminstrator, hopefully).
