Glad we are reaching an agreement, i think i nearly choked when i read an Andrew Bolt headline that seems to suggest he also thinks Khelif is the victim here.
But as far as restricted participation, not sure i buy in completely. Who in their right mind takes up boxing without acknowledging that they may, at best, get a broken nose or ribs, at worst die?
The athlete always has the option to bow out gracefully, or if the competitor were undefeated, perhaps moved up a class?
But yeh we essentially agree, which makes for a nice change.
Alot of people online seem to be posting apologies now on their social media accounts. Other public figures are chosing to still call her a man and pretend she has fought as a man before, which is disappointing but not unexpected given their reputation for being serial liars. But it's great when we can work through something methodically as a society and come to a better outcome.
