Something for those trying to obtain information directly from the company to ponder.
If YOU receive information from the company and know that this information is not public or are told by them that it is not public, then YOU are an insider and when YOU act on that information by buying or selling shares then YOU are insider trading - punishable by fine or prison sentence. Not the company - YOU.
But greed being what it is, YOU probably dont care!
