1/2 Mitcham Shopping Centre was without power from midday yesterday. Dropped into Woollies about 7pm for some gelati to take to friends' place - it was dimly lit and staff were emptying ALL the fridges and freezers. Bought strawbs instead.
This morning woken by chainsaws at 5 am - took dog for walk - a gum tree had fallen on powerlines, blacking out the street behind me.
What next. Down to 40.4 in Adelaide now.
