I bought into TCH between $1-$1.80 and have held the vast majority (I added over the years and only started selling some in the last few months as many of my investment goals have been achieved- the one I’m waiting for is the elusive 100x!).
It is very very hard to do in practice- there have been many stomach churning moments, but nothing like March this year (and I am quite an experienced investor). After adding to my position in March, I was close to breakeven at one stage...absolutely scary stuff when you’ve been sitting on 20x paper profits. In my case only learnt by selling winners too early that you’ve got to hold on for the biggest gains (Eg worst decision was I sold TPW at 40c after a 2x- but learnt after doing something similar a few times).
For me- having people that I trust that made me not do something stupid also helped.
