From personal experience, as long as you observe the directions on the site regarding safe trading then you are fairly safe.
Living in a regional area as I do, Ebay is a good way to pick up a bargain and have it delivered.
I have purchased a few laptops on Ebay over the years for myself and others and all have been good value for money.
