I d rather they dont make any offers!. I m happy being a holder for the foreseeable future so its not in my interest to see a takeover. if anything i would like the suitors to withdraw their offers in light of the recent outbreak.
in my view, i think webjet as a company has never been more promising and or strong as it is now. There's the webbeds business and the new rezchain booking system to name a few. And i think these businesses will continue to experience growth into the future. And that's why i see 18 or 20 dollars as nothing when you look into the medium and long term basis.
short term, sure the new virus has wreaked havoc on the travel industry and understandably so but fundamentally the company has not changed and its just a matter of time before there's a vaccine.
