You do know you guys have explicit rights & remedies as shareholders beyond simply picking up a phone to call a Director and hoping for honesty, right?
Finding & exercising the right ones might need need professional support and advocacy though (and the right kind of people avoid posting on HotCopper for professional reasons).
PS: I don't care what you do, but only communicating your concerns to the Company verbally and without documentary record, won't be taken anywhere near as seriously as writing to the Company Secretary & keeping a copy of your correspondence (ie: in case one of those professionals who can support and advocate/seek remedy for you wants evidence that you felt your concerns were serious...)
