If we assume the integrity of the posters is genuine, then perhaps it comes down to the use of language in the original post, which I interpret as being by someone who does not have English as their first language. Say both EM1 and ASX have responded saying there's "two" items outstanding, but the person relaying that to the forum enthusiastically or otherwise writes "two small" items. These two items may well be neither small nor simple at all...
