Oh for sure but as pointed out by binbin, planes need to operate at 75%+ to break even. With people expecting empty seats in between or behind or front to provide them with the assurance of being covidsafe, QF may just have to try and strike the right balance or not at all. IMHO if there are no outbreaks or weeks of zero cases between states leading into July then they should just operate a plane at full capacity but maintain strict distancing measures, temperature testing, hygiene at airports. Spacing could be provided to the elderly and people with health conditions backed up by a medical cert.
