Without waiting for guidance from Government, Alan Joyce has announced their plans for restarting and have stated that they won't be restricting the purchase of the middle seat because they admit that social distancing is not possible on planes. Wearing masks on planes will also not be mandatory.
I have to say, I am impressed how Qantas gets to dictate their own social distancing standards while the rest of Australia has to comply with what the Government enforces.
