It is quite simple, the sooner we go into lockdown the sooner we get out this. We need a lockdown because it is spread by social interactions and should we reduce the social interactions the virus has nowhere to go. Listen to the medical experts that is why the option C whilst initial painful will see the virus die out. The clock starts ticking once we go into lockdown, Italy was too late in getting there.
Just remember once we have it under control then our internal borders and business will return to normal however our external borders will remain closed. International travel is not as profitable to Qantas as domestic business.
Qantas still have a freight business and have sufficient cash reserves for 12 months.
