I think you're forgetting the other side of the equation. That is that most of the world will go through the pandemic, with serious losses sure, but then come out the other side with the so called 'herd immunity' allowing them to freely roam between any other country thats also had their pandemic. And what does Australia do? Sit in isolation for the next 10 years? That can't be good for business thats for sure.
