Coronavirus has not magically disappeared or become less contagious. Just slowed down cause everyone and the economy has come to a grinding halt by staying at home.

Put it in perspective mate. Internal borders were closed when there was around 2400 cases (less in some states). In a few weeks time, even with slowing of the curve, there will most likely be somewhere around 10,000 cases in Australia (or more). How can the government say that is a better time to open up the internal borders again? There will be significantly more active cases, it is still just as contagious and we are moving towards winter? A guaranteed way to spike the numbers and put pressure on the hospitals.

Im not a pessimistic person but unfortunately I can’t see internal borders opening any time soon.

The share markets is currently getting taken over by uneducated punters that usually use their Sportsbet accounts for a punt. At the start of the year the ASX was overpriced and forward thinking. The current losses due coronavirus probably just made it fair value. The looming recession, high unemployment, excessive government/corporate debt and continual threat of coronavirus spikes - isn’t yet priced in.
