No one doubts that this virus will eventually pass and be controlled. The key question is how long it takes to happen and how long before people are comfortable flying domestic and international flights again.
Domestic will most definitely restart first but will that be sufficient to make Qantas profitable again? Hard to tell as planes need to be filled above a certain percentage to breakeven and this will be harder to achieve if middle seats are not going to be made available for sale.
