Ok understand your post, trying to be helpful re future WBC sp. Seems counter intuitive, but perhaps not as much for these dud bank stocks. Investing is based on improving company performance and increasing wealth, now with WBC it is a perennial backward moving stock, irrespective of the time frame and metrics. At what point is there is a bottom for the sp, or time to bail out and cease trying to catch a falling knife. Is that John McFarlane (brought back from retirement previously with ANZ?) still there, not much improvement in his tenure so far?
