Here's a scenario for everyone: The institutional investor is a large long/short manager who subsequently short sold their position for a market neutral position in anticipation of weakness I.e. post the insider sell down which they were fully aware of obviously, but ultimately are comfortable with a longer term reversal throughout which time I suspect they'll have ample room to cover and convert to an overall long exposure.
