They play the same book every time because the fundamental psychology of greed and fear remains the same for all human being. In addition, it is very hard to proof such shenanigan because everyone involved makes good profit so they won't be any leak there for it will kill their own golden goose that lays the egg.
Take the recent voting on Axel Hoos. Till now, we don't know who voted to kick him off. All we know is there are enough votes to do it and they come from different sources. My bet is those shares are being held by different accounts belong to one big pharma. And we will know who it is once the takeover offer comes in.
