Let's look at the facts. The major players that are involved in the VLA takeover are the same players involved here. Namely Paul Hopper and Merck.

Back then, what happened to the VLA share price after each positive announcement is also happening here now with IMU.

So far, the facts are pointing to another takeover play on IMU using the same playbook on VLA by the same players involved back then.

Only difference, we have Roche/Genentech also coming to play now. Maybe that is putting an urgency on Merck? Who knows, right?

Anyway, it is all fun and games and only time will tell.
