Enigma, the reported shorts are down about 25% in the last two weeks. To me it looks as though the shorters have been covering since the price dropped below 70 cents.
It's really the change in the shorts that might be an indication of price movement rather than just the number.
On that big down day last thursday 1.4 million shorts were covered.
