As the commodity bubble deflates, which we've all been warned of in 2012 by BHP etc, money can be made by not going long - maybe a possible way of recouping monies lost.
I personally believe another one or two years are needed for the real directive global funds to escape.
2012 has been mostly about yields.
The spec commodity bubble is deflating and fast, unless one has fast and slippery fingers, wth few exceptions.
I hope it'll change but I think we'll witness more deleveraging in 2013 therefore I don't believe the sharemarket is a place to park money as of yet unless you're experienced (or lucky).
NB. The days of fast salaries and free options are over for exploratory speculative micro companies. The sooner some understand this, the better.
