I note La-Frenz is not penned here, but its too late fellas - the term is now coined in the investment lexicon.
"What we confirmed, to the best of our knowledge, is that we were charged duties that were not paid to customs."
A much more tepid and back-pedalling statement than "Cettire are not paying their taxes" in the original article.
Not sure who you are talking with, but speak with a good indirect taxes partner and you can verify that duty is paid on landed cost, not selling price.
