If they're undertaking that sort of call campaign, one can only infer that they've got some real cashflow problems.

They must also have some real doubt over the success of the offer.

It's a bit like being down at the TAB and counting every last coin in your pockets, working out how much you've got left to try and get yourself out of jail...
