It's a demerger, not a sale. The WES share price and market cap will drop as it will be split into two entities (WES + Coles). The sum of those two should be greater than just WES alone, if the demerger achieves its intended purpose of creating value, but the WES share price and market cap will drop to account for the removal of the Coles assets.
