But you have to ask yourself rabbitoh does the strong $AUD really matter, most of us are in stocks that are 1-2 years away from producing, by then I have little doubt the $AUD will be back below $1, strong $AUD really helps the advanced explorers outside Australia that are using US$ to explore or develop there project, high gold price gives advanced explorers ready to move to development stage the oppertunity to look at hedging part of future sales, its really a win win for most gold companies outside Australia, only thing is we are the only ones that see it atm lol

Would have to think the majors are ready to attempt some takeovers with so many Gold stocks underperforming, would help get the market talking..
