Guys - best to check out our gold index say the end of next week.
Today was Options Expiry and our largest miner NCM is ALWAYS subjected to blatant price manipulation on and leading into these key dates. Same as what happens to Newmont on the Nyse at options expiry. NCM closes flat today at $42 - who would of thunk it....
NCM will rise tomorrow and next week - happens each and every month. The shorting in NCM has been off the charts for the last week with 1million plus shares daily being shorted in an effort to cap the price to the key 42 strike - can't understand why the ASX lets this happen each and every month but it happens.
Our goldies will do fine - all dips should be bought with both fists. Imo the AUD once it clears 1.10 will top out and the AUD gold price will work its way to 1500 by the middle of the year - I expect a massive rally in our goldies in the 3rd quarter this year.
