Hey,
Could not see a thread for this one so i thought i would put some info out there on it. I think it is exciting times ahead for MWS as the restructure has happened, new shareholders on the register and the company is set up to grow.
First,
Introduction of Sequoia Asset Management who underwrite a capital raising and have then increased their stake on market to 15.5% (grouped). These guys have a good track record and are in the process of a reverse takeover of ASX:IDP http://www.sequoiasuper.com.au/shareholders they currently have 1000 clients and mange 100 million in client funds http://www.sequoiaam.com.au/ .
Second,
Board has aligned views with shareholders the chairman is the top shareholder with 20% and the executive director is third with 6.67%. In addition the top 20 owns 86% so if it gets some buying pressure it is going to move quickly.
Third,
Successful listing of Sino Oil and Gas which the company said "was one of a few lead brokers to successfully complete an IPO
transaction in 2013. The success of the listing has resulted in a number of pivotal relationships being developed. Which could lead to increase revenues for the company".
Four.
Strategic alliances (JV) with Sequoia through the creation of Sequoia Wealth Management Pty Ltd which is a 50/50 venture. The half yearly report announced "A 50/50 joint venture arrangement between MDS Financial Group Limited and Sequoia Pty Ltd was agreed on
27 February 2014, with the purpose of developing a private wholesale retail client group". As this was the end of last week we should see some announcement with some detail soon which could drive the sp.
Five,
Access to more funds to grow growth. Once again from the half yearly, "The Directors are in negotiations with third-parties to secure capital to meet the company’s financial obligations and is
in the process of formalising strategic relationships to improve the financial performance of the company. This will allow
the company to improve performance and improve economics of scale to move to self-sufficiency in the operations of
the company over the next 6 months".
Six,
They are forecasting revenue growth of 15% with revenue up 33% on the corresponding position last year.
This is just a summary of what i think might drive the SP in the coming months.
Cheers, gijoe99.
