As Crab has stated: The macro facing MYE is poor. SP getting a hammering. Now below 90c. Is anyone buying? I'm not planning to enter MYE as it's too hard for me to work out how much the margins of contractors are being squeezed down, but as commodities fall miners will get ruthless with their demands.
The days of contractors getting what they asked-for from resource owners has gone for good. We're on cusp of plenty skilled labour seeking fewer jobs. Some contractors will benefit i.e. those that win new contracts and need to hire new staff.
