As for silver going into hiding , I recently requested for my stored and allocated silver stash to be sent to me.I was shocked to learn after handing over 200 k 15 months ago the silver
thats supposed to be in storage was not available.
So the scam unwinds like this,you pay upfront and they offer you free storage and insurance for a year hoping you dont requeste physical delivery. IF you do than its simply a matter of them telling you it will take a week to organise delivery.
Meanwhile they scurry to purchase the silver from the mint to dend to you. Only now the mints are all out of stock and the delay is 3 weeks ,meanwhile they have had the use of my currency free of charge.
I'm still waiting for my metal, supposedly coming soon and these guys have a good reputation in the bullion market.
Don't take the risk, if metal is not available for immediate delivery or pickup don't pay ,the Perth Mint has a 7 week delay on any kind of silver bars and they won't sell you something that's not in stock.
The real danger hear is if silver takes off and dealers have oversold metal they don't have ,than most likely you will lose your money as they close their doors due to bankruptcy.
