re: dummy bidders, just be careful Often better to buy $100K of something to make 30% in a year on it with reasonable confidence and less risk (and stay for more and more until exit signal and collect a dividend while waiting) than to try to squeeze 300% out of just $10K nervously invested and then turn it into $5K.
