Only Australian patent secured so far as im aware. EU and US will both be difficult. Your talking like we already have it in the bag. Not to mention that china will normally not recognise patents and boats can move.
oil and gas companies with thier aquire and exploit mentality are not exactly renouned for there preventative maintenance or building oil rigs under water or anything maintenance that costs money unless its definitely needed. The non hyper barric under water welding in existence already is widely accepted by oil fields and correct me if im wrong can be coded at a fraction the cost. I can imagine a few small jobs here and there but 4 the cost of this thing they do usually hav other options and that seems to me to be whats holding them back. I may be back if the resources boom slows but 4 this week im on EGO Empire oil. Drilling a hole about 60 nautical miles from 3 major oil fields. One of the closest wells produced 80-90 000 barrels a day for years. last i heard was slowing up but theyv ran it 4 about 10 years now. worth a punt.
