It's a valid point that you make. I will be taking up mine given I have been paying a few pips more in recent times. I am feeling pretty relaxed about it to be honest. I understand the process of what they are aiming to achieve and therefore I accept the length of time it has taken .
Nothing is guaranteed as we all know. Those that bought WBC a few months ago in September gladly paid 30 dollars per share. Today they are fetching 25 dollars. During that time the Dow has reached record highs and our market has been going O.K. Who would have thought WBC would have dropped 17% in a couple of months.
We are talking about a 1c stock that could very easily be 10c in a short space of time. For that reason I am happy to wait.
If I did not think this was very achievable I would have sold out a long time ago.
So for all shareholders I would suggest paying 1c for the entitlement is a reasonably good punt under the circumstances.

After all our chairman is willing to throw another 600,000 into the mix. My entitlement is very, very small in comparison.
