Regarding Queensland Government: From what I understand of politics, one of two things will probably happen here;
1. They come to an agreement to compensate CNX for a portion of fees and expenses.
2. They will reverse the announced decision (on the quiet).
People will then consider QLD UCG free, but CNX will get the green light for it's technology.
Just a theory, and it might take 3-6-9 months, but I've seen it a number of time before. Headlines say X, government implements Y.
Even more sus is the fact they didn't even consult before making the announcement. Sounds like another politician(s) who has made similar statements at federal level recently.
The games aren't over yet.
