IMHO both company and computershare need justify why they choose to use paper cheques posted to refund money.
Banks complain cheques no longer cost effective when BPay or account to account transfers available.
BTW banks can do a lot more to reduce common human errors within electronic transfers, like enable partial matching of intended payee name as well as intended account number so mismatches rejected and returned to be corrected before transactions completed.
