Too true. Doctors don’t tell you the life of the joint if you go back to normal activities. This knee copped a hiding when a horse fell on it and has always been prone to further injury. Collagen and acupuncture seem to help. Not sure if it’s partly placebo effect. Given the big wet have needed gum boots for many days. Really bad on the knee.
