surgery is a LOT better than it was back 40 years or so - surgery has leapt ahead in leaps and bounds ---------- medicine has gone nowhere in comparison and mental health even worse
that said - surgery is still surgery - if you see a hip replacement table - either posterior or anterior table -
it makes a cattle crush look positively friendly
just get over it ----------- you're asleep (with luck) and, you won't remember a thing
chances are very good for a very positive outcome -------- as opposed to -
pain, suffering and disability for the rest of your life -
it's really no contest
just play it smart when trying to get the odds in your favor by finding a good one
oh -------------- and, prepare yourself -------------------- get fit - best way you can before hand
