Scottda, it is about a month since I sent my acceptance in and I haven't even had confirmation of receipt...I checked on my broker account and found the shares still there "available" (after the month). I have contacted my broker who has now (re-) submitted on my behalf. So just in case, if you haven't done before, just check in your broker account that your acceptance has been "accepted" and the shares are not showing as still available to you.
