yep purchashed a property in 2008 that went from 550k to the sale price of 420k.
he had an offer of 530k previously, then 480 (finance fell through), then me.
the best offer is often the 1st. I sold one in jan wanting 575k, took 567k; it was an IP and wasnt out to squeeze the asking price.
