    Gold miner doubling jobs

    A north Queensland gold miner says he's doubling his workforce due to the good price.

    The price of gold soared to more than $1400 US Dollars an ounce late last week.

    Citigold operates at Charters Towers and at the moment employees about 100 people.

    Its managing director Mark Lynch says he's expanding Citigold next year.
