I see that you are quite optimistic. Without hope we die!

I invested in FPA before I had learned some basic principles, or should I say that because investing in FPA I learned some basic principles. I now have 65K odd of them at NZ$1 average. I'm stuck as I don't want to sell with such a loss and I can't invest this money elsewhere.

A rights issue will mean that potentially an even larger portion of my portfolio are tied up with this.

I have enjoyed the dividends and have bought into FPA for this reason. I now have second (thirds & fourths as well) thoughts about this policy.

I can say that I have learned from my mistakes and subsequent investments have been far more successful.
