manufacturing industry. In fact I'd go as far as to say that succesive Governments beginning with the Rogernomics era in the 80's, have been almost hostile with thier policies.

Strange that NZ imported hundreds of thousands of low skilled labour from the Islands only to tell them 10-20 years later that "we are going to become a Information Society" and they should upskill.

Thats what happens when Labour went from "work up from behind a shovel" politicians to " University degrees are now prerequsite" politician. But thats Chardonay Socialists for you.
